Aboriginal Stories
How the Kangaroos got their tails.
We read this story and had a discussion about the language used in the book. All aboriginal stories have a moral in them. We made our own kangaroos.
They even have a boomerang in their hand.
Possum Magic
As part of our unit on Australia we have been studying the book Possum Magic.
Our National Anthem.
This beautiful book has taught us all about the states and capital cities in Australia.
